Profile

I'm a Researcher/Designer/Strategist who is passionate about providing groundbreaking solutions for industry.

My goal is to work at a company that understands how design research can empower the creation of new products and services, as well as its ability to act as a catalyst for organizational and cultural change.

My background in Industrial & Interaction Design, coupled with my professional experience in research for product development, enables me to understand consumer needs, emotions and expectations in order to inform decision-making throughout the design process and beyond.


Experience

Insight Product Development -- Researcher

February 2006 -- Present
Raleigh, NC
  • Led and supported the planning and implementation of design research programs, from writing proposals through the presentation of findings to clients.

  • Worked side-by-side with designers and engineers and served as a research evangelist throughout the product development process.

  • Conducted research for consumer, commercial and medical products, as well as software interfaces.

  • Created conceptual designs, custom control schemes, wireframes, visual resource dictionaries, and XAML prototypes for the development of a touchscreen interface for the medical industry.
